  2. Teams consist of three players. These players will be ranked in terms of ability 1, 2 and 3 but the captain. The player numbered 1 will play the opposing teams 1 and 2 players. The number 2 plays the opposing teams 1 and 3 players. The player numbered 3 will play the opposing teams 2 and 3.

  4. The doubles match will be played by any 2 players in the college team.

  6. A home team should make first contact. If no contact has been made within 7 days from the official match date, preference for a walkover will be given to an away team after the deadline of each match. A walkover WILL NOT BE AWARDED unless one of the team communicates to the League Secretary.

  7. If an away team does not respond to a home team's contact (1) by 7 days after the official match date or (2) within 7 days after the home team’s first contact, whichever is later, preference for a walkover will be given to the home team. A walkover WILL NOT BE AWARDED unless one of the team communicates to the League Secretary.

  8. A home team is responsible for providing a playing venue and 3-star table tennis balls.

  9. Ideally each match shall be umpired; umpiring duties for each match shall alternate between teams.

  10. The League Secretary will officiate over any disputes, in particular in deciding unplayed matches and unfinished matches, alongside any ranking disputes.

  11. Please report the result on our league website (https://playwaze.com/cambridge-college-table-tennis/3agk5bh6lz/community-details) immediately after each match is completed (go to “Fixture” tab and you will be able to enter your results). Only the home team needs to submit the result, and breakdowns are not required.

  12. The rank is determined first by the number of overall teams matches won, then by point differences (so 5-4 counts as 1 point differences), If there is still a tie, head-to-head results will be used.
